Giving it Another Go

So my attempts last year didn't work out so well about keeping the blog going.
I don't get much traffic so I'm probably not disappointing too many people. I'm going
to try and do a post monthly since I'm in a swap every month on my
All Things Tim Yahoo Group (ATT).

Here is the card I made for the January card swap.
When I started it I was thinking I need a tag for the swap.
Opps, it was suppose to be a card. This is based on the
2013 January Tag that Tim Holtz made. You can find the
original at http://timholtz.com/.
Tim is great about showing techniques and design
ideas on his blog.

I really had a good time making this. Hope Cheryl (the receiver)
can find a use for it.

This is the card I received from Colleen O'Lear
for this swap. I love this card for the purple
background. (my favorite color). And for the
text on the ticket.

Hope you like the art.

Hope you are staying warm and cozy wherever you are in the country.
Carol

  1. Hi Carol, I was intrigues with your name, the uncle part of course, LOL, when I was reading comments on Caludine's blog. So, I just had to come visit and I love your art!!! On the card you made above, I love how you blended the distress inks and how you used the water droplets. Your composition is beautiful and I am sure Hope is going to love it!!!

    1. I just posted a new blog post and saw I have comments. I don't know if you get the reply unless you come back here.I am still trying to figure this blog thing out. lol I do appreciate your comments about my art. It's nice to know that a couple people have stopped by. The "Uncle" part does throw people for a loop but it's nice to have a special name. Please stop by again sometime. I hope to do better about keeping up with a blog.

    1. Thanks for the kind words Terry. I'm hoping I do better in 2013 than I did in 2012 for blogging. Stop by here again. I'll do my best not to disappoint.
